Marion “Marie” Keane, nee Galashan, 89, passed away on September 4, 2022, after a brief illness. 

Marie was born in Dublin, Ireland on August 18, 1933, a daughter of the late James and Marion (Leonard) Galashan. Marie and James Keane were married on July 17, 1957 in Ireland and immigrated to Canada and then later to the United States. She is survived by her sister, Annette (Joe) Kelly of Dublin, Ireland; loving children, Louise (Gary) Teodosio of West Hartford, Andrew (Susan) Keane of Belmont, CA, Arlene Keane of North Carolina, James (Rafa) Keane of Valencia, Spain; her grandchildren, Emma Teodosio, Connor and Callie Keane and Patrick Keane, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews living in Ireland and abroad. Marie was predeceased by her husband James Keane.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy Church, West Hartford, at 10 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
