Mariamma Joseph (age 90) of South Windsor, beloved wife of late C.K. Joseph Charivuparampil from Ranny, Kerala, India, passed away on October 7, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to, late Abraham and Chachiamma of Kunnirikal Manackal family in Kattode. She had four siblings: the late Mr. M.A. Kuruvilla, M.A. Abraham, Kunjamma Mathew and A.K. Jacob. She was raised in Thiruvalla, India, and went to S.C. High School and completed her Teacher’s Training Course in Ranny. She was a homemaker prior to her brief employment as a school teacher in India. Mariamma was a devoted Knanaya Jacobite Christian. She immigrated to the US in 1994 and has been a member of St. Mary’s Hartford since 1996. Mariamma is survived by her children: Jacob & Ammini Karukaparambil, Jim & Suja Charivuparampil, Sabu & Suja Charivuparampil, and Thomas (Siby) & Sumol Charivuparampil. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was well known for her magnetic personality and cherished for her warm and welcoming smile. With her passing, heaven has gained one more angel.
