Maria B. Pedro, 68, of West Hartford, wife of belated husband Antonio M. Pedro passed away at Hartford Hospital on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Born December 3, 1952 in Agua de Pau, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a resident of West Hartford for 41 years. Maria was employed at Aetna, Hartford, prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Portuguese Society, East Hartford and a dedicated member and communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Maria loved to spend time with her grandchildren and crocheting baby outfits including blankets. She also loved making biscuits at the church. She leaves two daughters, Lizette Crispim and her husband Jose of Enfield and Judy Ferreira of West Hartford; one sister, Maria B. Vieira of West Hartford; one brother, Jose C. Vieira his wife Maria de Jesus Vieira of New Bedford, MA; two grandchildren, Francisco Pedro Ferreira and Sofia Pedro Ferreira and nephews and niece and nephews, Suzy Vieira, David Vieira and wife Cathy, all of New Bedford, MA, and Peter Matos and his wife Jessica of East Hartford. The family would like to give thanks to the doctors and nurses at Hartford Hospital for taking care of our mother during her time in the hospital.

Graveside Service will be TODAY, (December 23), 10:30 am at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St, Fatima Square, Hartford, CT 06106.
