Manuel "Manny" Galo, 77, of Brazil, formerly of Farmington, passed away on February 17, 2016 in Brazil. Born in Serra de Santo Antonio, Portugal, son of the late Belmira (Ferreira) and Lourenco Galo,
he lived in West Hartford and Farmington during his professional life and in Brazil the past 20 years. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Pratt Whitney as a buyer.

Manny is survived by three children, Julie Odenwaelder of Goshen and Naples, Fl, Larry Galo of Naugatuck, Michelle Galo of Tacoma, WA and his beloved grandchildren. He also is survived by his three sisters, Maria Branco of Bolton, Laura Galo of Ellington and Natalia Valinho of West Hartford and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, (March 12), 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will follow in Bolton Center Cemetery, Bolton.
