The Best Uncle in the World

Everyone should know what a great Uncle Louie was. I would've never made it through this story at the service. For 45 years I was blessed with the funniest, caring and loving Uncle ever. I can remember him always being a part of my life . When he lived in California I remember waiting for the right time so it wouldn't be too late or early when we called him on the phone. Then he finally came back to New Britain in my Grams basement. His too Sheep Dogs: Abbie and Willie. Then I remember dancing with him at his wedding. I was so upset that MY uncle was getting married and being taken away from me. Yet his being married didn't keep him away. Then he moved to Florida. The phone calls continued and I went to visit with Gram when Gabriel was born. He took me to this cool mini golf/ arcade with a castle and waterfalls. Just the two of us! Then he returned back to CT. Along came Nikki and Marla so now I had 3 cousins I loved. I can remember him always coming over. This one time my Grandpa was playing wiffle ball with is and slid into 3rd base. He dislocated his shoulder and. Uncle Lou had to take him to ER. He was so mad at an ER doctor who he said hurt my Grandpa while placing his arm back in the socket. I watched as he put his dreams on hold to take care of both his sick parents for years. I never heard him complain once. After the birth of both my sons. My last visitor the day they were born was Uncle Louie. I watched him as he held my sons and talked to them and me for what seemed like hours. He formed this un breakable bond with both my boys who grew to love him. He would send them pictures of snakes from Arizona he caught. They had big plans when his house was finished I can go on all day about how loving my Uncle was. He loved his entire family effortlessly and unconditionally. Uncle Louie- you will forever be in my Dante and Dylan's hearts. I will never forget what you have meant to me. Love always- Cindy
