GUINAN-ROMANIELLO, Lois (Weinberger), of West Hartford, died peacefully on November 17, 2022, after a valiant decades-long battle with cancer. Her loving family was by her side. Born October 2, 1946, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Henry and Evelyn Weinberger, Lois spent the better part of over 60 years of her life in West Hartford, Connecticut. After graduating from Hall High School, class of 1965, she married Tom Guinan and had their beloved only son Michael Guinan. Michael gave Lois the ultimate joys of her life - her four grandchildren. Lois found her second chance at love and married Michael Romaniello in September 1992. They celebrated 30 wonderful years together.

After graduating from Secretarial School in Boston, Lois worked in administration and in 1976 started at Maryland Casualty Insurance, became the Office Manager where she spent most of her career, including when it became Zurich Insurance. After her insurance career, she took another position with the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry and loved her 10 years guiding the incoming residents. She retired in 2020. 

Lois leaves her beloved family who will miss her terribly. She is survived by her husband Michael Romaniello of West Hartford, CT, son Michael J. Guinan of Westbrook, CT, and adored grandchildren; Brianna Camera of Dallas, TX, Grayson, Olivia, and Sophia Guinan of Westbrook, CT and stepsons Michael and Peter Romaniello. 

Calling hours will be Tuesday, (November 22) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, followed by an 11:00 a.m. mass at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1655 Boulevard, West Hartford, and burial at Fairview Cemetery, 200 Whitman Avenue, West Hartford.
