Linda (Perlak) Coons, 71, beloved mother, grandmother, friend, passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018. Born on Oct. 25, 1947, in Winsted, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Perlak. Linda graduated from Old Saybrook High School in 1965. She was a professor for many years at Manchester Community College where she taught culinary arts. She enjoyed cooking, working on crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the beach and often would spend time at her son’s beach house in Old Lyme. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren playing board games and cards. She loved family and friend gatherings.

Linda leaves two children, Wendy Perreault and her husband, Stephan, of Danbury, CT and William Coons and his wife, Mary, of West Hartford. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Stephan and Ryan Perreault and William, Kelly, and Kevin Coons and her brother Joseph Perlak and wife Linda of North Fort Myers, FL.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held on Sunday December 16th from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford.
