Obituary for Leona Stella Coladonato (Luzusky)

Leona Stella (Luzusky) Coladonato, 89, passed away quietly on Monday, April 19, 2021. She was born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania to William and Mary (Pelton) Luzusky.
Leona worked at Arrow-Hart Electric Company as a quality control supervisor until the business relocated. In a second career she was a transportation specialist of special needs children, working for the Town of West Hartford until her retirement in 1996. A Woman of Strength, she would never let an opportunity to speak her mind, pass.
Leona loved traveling in her retirement especially with her many grandchildren.
She was a long time member of “Woman of The Moose” Chapter #1470 in East Hartford and loved doing her word search puzzles and reading the Courant.
Leona was a very generous woman, her passion was caring for her three boys and seeing they were well cared for, raising them on her own as the family matriarch.
The last and youngest of 10 siblings, she has now been reunited in the Heavens.
She leaves her three sons, Rick and wife Linda of East Hartford, who both provided 24/7 loving care, Stephen and Carol Coladonato of Moundsville, West Virginia and her “Baby” Raymond and wife Samone of South Windsor;
six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a special niece, Barbara Brown of Manchester.
