Kathryn "Kay" (Maudsley) Coyle, 93, of Guilford, wife of the late David Coyle, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2023, at The Guilford House Nursing home.

Kathryn was born in Fitchburg, MA, one of three daughters of the late William B. Maudsley and Constance W. (Arnold) Maudsley. As a child Kathryn and her family moved to Hartford, where she attended grammar school and Bulkeley High School. After her graduation she worked for Pratt & Whitney and later for various insurance and banking institutions in the Hartford area.

Kathryn is survived by many nieces and nephews: Kathryn Costello of West Hartford, CT; Jane Cremmins of Barre, MA; Anthony Helstoski of Salem, CT; John Hejna of Eldersburg, MD; Paul Hejna of Waterbury, CT; Matthew Hejna of Salida, CO; James Hejna of Austin, TX; Dennis Coyle of Frederick, MD; Edward Cole of Lakeville, CT; Raymond Coyle of Roxbury, CT; William Coyle of New Milford, CT; Barbara Moher of Richmond Hill, GA; Deborah Hallman of Richmond Hill, GA; Terri Giuditta of Ravensdale, WA; Robert Lynn of Oakville, CT; Wayne Piskura of Roxbury, CT; Nancy Coyle of North Reading, MA; and Stephen Coyle of Chantilly, VA. Besides her beloved husband, Kathryn was predeceased by her two sisters, Ann Hejna and Margaret Helstosky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, (April 13), 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 25 Church St., Route 317, Roxbury. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, 92 Hemlock Rd, Roxbury, will follow Mass. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com
