Obituary for Julio Cesar Del Castillo

Julio César Del Castillo Vasquez, 71,passed away peacefully at his home in West Hartford surrounded by his loving family on September 14, 2018.

Born in November 24,1946 in Cabana-Ancash, Peru. He was predeceased by his parents, AnatolioDel Castillo and Aurelia Vasquez, and his older brothers Carlos Aparicio and Arturo Velít.

Julio was a wonderful husband of 43 years to his loving wife, Irma N. Del Castillo; a proud loving father to Irma, Nérida, Araceli and Merly; loving grandfather to Jimena, Arianna, Matthew, Casey and Holley.

He is survived by his siblings in USA: Alicia, Pedro Pablo and Teresa. In Peru: Ana, Uriel, Edmundo, Anatolio, Guillermo, Elena, Ángel, Germán y Brady.

He leaves behind his in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved and respected him. He was also a member of “El Comité del Apóstol Santiago El Mayor in Peru and Hartford”.

Julio was an honest and sincere man. Very affectionate with his grandchildren, and aware of the needs of his family. Good head of home, diligent and hardworking. He was known for his work ethic, great sense of responsibility and sense of justice, high human sensitivity, good judgment in making decisions, perseverance, charisma, and a deep love and respect for God. Julio loved his family, his friends, his beloved Cabana, music, his work at Banco de la Nación in Peru, and his students and co-workers at Bulkeley High School.

In Peru, Julio was a lawyer. He worked in the Legal Department as General Trustee of legal matters for El Banco de la Nación in Lima, Peru. Julio came to this country in 1998 to provide a better life for his family. His wish was to provide a better future for his daughters and growing family in this new land.

Julio Del Castillo was the pillar of our family and will always be in our hearts. We will miss him deeply and we hope to see him again.

Family and friends are invited to Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen funeral home at 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford on September 21s tfrom 5-8 p.m. followed by a Christian Burial Mass on Saturday, September 22nd 9:30 am at Saint Rose Church in East Hartford.
