Condolence: Joe will be missed. The world was a better place with Joe in it. Diane, Candy and I used to enjoy those baseball and basketball games with the boys almost as much as you guys, I'll bet. You and Joe raised three handsome, bright, hard working boys to the men they are today; men who know what winning is all about. Hats off to Joe Guinan for molding the West Hartford Boys leagues (baseball, football and basketball) into something better than it was and for getting JC Courant off the ground and running in town with some of the best kids I have ever known, who are still close and vibrant like the teams Joe coached. I think some of the best memories a kid can have growing up is of a favorite teacher or a favorite coach. Joe was both. I saw his passion for baseball and as much as I respected him as a man I admired him. What closer bond can you forge than giving up countless hours of your time to your own kids, let alone so many others. Candy and I are so sorry for your loss we can't tell you. We wish for you, Steve, Eric, Michael and the Guinan family Godspeed in the days and years to come.
