Joan (Jeffers) DiManno, 87, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late John T. DiManno, passed away on October 27, 2018. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late James J. and Anna (Hary) Jeffers. She was a graduate of Weaver High School, class of 1949. She was a resident of West Hartford for 60 years and was employed at Travelers Insurance Company and retired from ADP. Joan is survived by a son Thomas J. DiManno of West Hartford; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Richard H. Birge of Canton; two grandchildren, Richard H. Birge, Jr. and Katelyn J. Birge and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Jeffers and two sisters, Katherine Jeffers Gorman and Ann-Marie Jeffers McCoy. The family would like to thank the staff at The Reservoir and Day Break of Hartford. Funeral procession will be Saturday, November 3, 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am in the Church of St. Peter Claver, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours will be Friday, November 2, from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
