Ingeborg “Inga” Hester Buhrmann, 89, born August 10, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA, died October 13, 2023 at Amberwoods of Farmington on Willow Way in hospice care. Thank you to all the caregivers and support staff who took part in her care. Inga resided at Amberwoods since January of 2023. In the spring of 2021, after being shut down by Covid, Inga realized that she needed help with her daily life and called CCCI. This was the same organization that helped her care for her mother and her aunt (Oma and Mary).

Inga leaves many, many friends and good neighbors. She was very socially active prior to the pandemic. Her home was in West Hartford on the corner of Trout Brook and Boulevard.

Inga’s family wishes to thank CCCI, now known as CMA (Care Management Associates); CRT (Community Renewal Team), also known as Meals on Wheels; Interim Health provided comprehensive treatment including PT and OT; and Companions and Homemakers, with a special thanks to Dasilva Grant.
