On November 21, 2023, Glenna C. Burnett, of Farmington, formerly of West Hartford, passed away peacefully at the age of 103. She will be remembered for her kindness to all and her very upbeat, fun-loving approach to life. She always had a bright smile and a good word for everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Glenna was preceded in death by Henry J. Burnett, her husband of 45 years. They were active members of the First Church of Christ Congregational of West Hartford, for several decades. She is survived by her son Ernie (Kathy) Burnett, of Cape Coral, FL, and daughter Donna Steimer, of Bristol, CT. She was loved by all her grandchildren: Christine (Mike) Nickelsen, Dr. Sheryl Falkos, Brian (Angie) Burnett, Karen (Bobby) Gentry, Kevin (Jessie) Burnett, Christopher (Dawn) Steimer, and Lori Calvert; her 13 great-grandchildren: Victoria Falkos, Cierra (Jay) Pulley, Anthony Gentry, Thomas and Tyler Burnett, Austin and Aleah Burnett, Fletcher Steimer, Zachary Calvert, Amy, Ryan, Caralee, and Andrew Nickelsen; her three great-great-grandchildren: Maddie, Bo, and Katy Pulley.

A Memorial Service will be planned at First Church of Christ Congregational of West Hartford at a future date. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband Henry in Marianna, FL. Glenna’s family would like to thank the staff at Touchpoints at Farmington and Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Niantic for their caring support and assistance during her last few years.
