Condolence From: Deron Bayer
Condolence: While I was never Frank's colleague, I feel as though I was. During my first years as a teacher at Housy, Frank was running the night school program that helped hundreds of people earn their high school diploma who may not ever have done so without his help. I got to see first hand his legendary energy and love for helping others to learn. He certainly helped this first time teacher. During our many talks after school he would share his experiences and philosophy with me. Ever the teacher, he was a generous man who shared his full self with everyone he met. We will not see his like again. My condolences to the Ruotolo family and his students who will never forget him.

Condolence From: Rick Alto
Condolence: Mr. Ruotolo was my teacher and mentor in the mid-1970's at HVRHS. He was a great teacher and friend and was instrumental in my career choice and pushed me to persue my dreams of entering the field of law enforcement. As part of a Social Studes project, Mr. Ruotolo encouraged me to go to Hartford an interview an FBI agent and then write a paper on my experience. Well, Mr. Ruotolo's encouragement paid off and I recently retired from a successful 36 year career in federal law enforcement. Mr. Ruotolo was an inspiration to all and he left a lasting legacy during his lifetime. He was a great man and will truly be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Ruotolo family during this difficult time.

Condolence From: Chaya Lemkin (Tara King)
Condolence: I was fortunate to have Mr. Ruotolo during my time at Housy, and he was by far one of my favorite teachers. His passion for history was infectious. I'll never forget the field trips he took us on to experience historical spots in our area first hand. With Mr. Ruotolo, even an empty field came to life with his descriptions of the events that happened there. To this day, I credit my love of history to him. My heart goes out to his family. May you all find comfort in your memories. He was truly an exceptional human being that touched so many people.

Condolence: I was heartbroken when I learned of Mr. Routolo's passing. He is a big reason why I became involved in my community. His love of history and his passion for "social studies" was infectious. To me he was "that" teacher. The one who made a difference. May his family take comfort in knowing the impact he made as a both a teacher and as a decent thoughtful human being that he was. Susie Fracaro Clayton
