Obituary for Francis Charles "Frank" Demanski

Francis Charles Demanski "Frank", 85, went into the arms of our Lord, on March 26, 2021. He was surrounded by his family, including his devoted wife June, his children, and grandchildren.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Frank and June were married 60 years. They enjoyed celebrating their wedding anniversaries at The Divine Mercy Shrine in the Berkshires.

Together they raised 5 children, all of whom cherished his polka dancing, horseradish, details with directions, fishing trips, his adventurous spirit, and his friendly manner with everyone he met. Frank was adored for his humor and courage, his support with the Special Olympics, and his dedication to his faith. He is predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth, on June 17, 2020.

He was an active member with the St. Brigid’s School and parish (including multiple tours as a Parish Council Member) since the 1960s. He is a United States Army Veteran, as well as a Fourth Degree Knight with The Knights of Columbus.

He leaves behind his daughters Deborah Ann Demanski DuPont, Rosanne Demanski and husband Thomas Andrews, Teresa and Aaron Shourie, and son Christopher and Jill Demanski; as well as 12 grandchildren who will miss him dearly: Joseph and Zachary DuPont, Gabriel and Hunter Nager, Bishan and Maya Shourie, Shelby, Riley, Taylor, Brooke, Michael, and Gabriel Demanski. He will be remembered by his sister-in-law Janet Wolfe with her three sons Roger, Bobby, and Ronnie Wolfe; and their families in Florida.
