Emma Jean McNeil, 91, of West Hartford, wife of the late Willie James McNeil, Sr., passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born May 11, 1931, in Steelton, PA to the late Oscar and Leila Daniels. She moved to Hartford, CT in 1981 and was a resident of West Hartford for 41 years. Emma retired from the State of Pennsylvania after twenty years as a senior secretary. She also worked for the State of Connecticut, Department of Agriculture, as Administrative Secretary. Emma was a member of the West Hartford, Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Emma is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Barry Daniels and sisters Sarah Warford, Mary Francis Smith, Nancy Daniels, Bonita Daniels and Ruby Lee Bennett.
