Eleanor (Hayes) O’Connor, 95, of Newington died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 18, 2022. Eleanor was born in Springfield, MA on March 17, 1927 to the late Daniel J. and Lada Hayes. She grew up in Hartford and moved to Newington in 1954.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Jack O’Connor and her son, Jackie O’Connor. She leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Craig of Newington; and a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Elizabeth and Justin Speller of Wethersfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, (November 28) at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Newington. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
