Dorothy M. DiSalvo, 92 of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023 after a short illness, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on November 1, 1930 in Gloucestershire-Redmarley, UK to William and Doris Spragg. She graduated from the British education system and immigrated to the U.S. with her family in 1948. When she arrived in the U.S., she worked in the insurance industry in Hartford, CT. Dorothy met her husband, Aldo, who was her next-door neighbor. They were married in September 1950 and had 58 wonderful years together, until Aldo passed away in 2008. She enjoyed her family and church activities.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Zapula. She is survived by her two sons, Anthony DiSalvo, of The Villages, FL and Andrew (Celine) DiSalvo of Beaufort, SC and Frye Island ME; her brother, Donald (Judy) Spragg of Port Charlotte, FL and Hebron CT; her grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Philip; her nephews, Carl, Richard, William, Stephen and niece Tracy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 467 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford.
