Dorothy R. Graves, 101 of Farmington, CT, formerly of West Hartford, passed away on August 25, 2023 after a brief illness, one day before her 101st birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Graves; her son, Douglas Graves and her granddaughter, Jennifer Santerre. She is survived by her sons, Donald and Barry; her daughter, Mari Steeno and her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Graves. As the family elder, she is also survived by her grandchildren Kristin Gilbey, Kevin Graves, Kelly Albrecht, Todd Graves, Brian Graves, Hans Graves and her 16 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was an avid quilter in her retirement years, after a career as a nurse and raising a family. As an independent person, she lived in her West Hartford home until moving to Middlewoods of Farmington, an Adult Living Community in 2021.
