Donna M. Winiarski, 66, of Hartford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Stanley E. Winiarski and Eleanor (Vogus) Winiarski, Donna graduated from Bulkeley High School and Middlesex College. She retired from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, after twenty-six faithful years of service. Donna was a great lover of all animals. She regularly opened her home to animals in need, and as a result, had fond memories of all her four-legged children. Donna was a proud homeowner who enjoyed working outside and tending her beautiful flowers and traveling with her friends.

Donna is survived by and will be missed by her two sisters, Joan Kelley Davey and her husband Rick of Windsor and Susan Winiarski of Hartford; her sister-in-law, Ginette Winiarski of Wethersfield; her nephew, Michael; her nieces, Elizabeth, Andrea and Stephanie; and two grandnieces and a grandnephew. She also leaves behind many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Paul Winiarski and her former husband, Helmut Gerber.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Mr. Will Ford for the years of caring for Donna, and to Fresh River Healthcare in East Windsor.
