Deolinda Costa, 83, of Rocky Hill, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 1, 2024. She was born on May 25, 1940, in Portugal and immigrated to the U.S. in 1973.

Deolinda was predeceased by her husband Antonio Costa, her mother Ana Rodrigues, and her father Manuel Rodrigues. She is survived by her sister, Maria Alcina Figueiredo; her daughter, Maria Fatima Costa and her husband Joe Octave; and her son, Carlos Costa and his wife Marisol Costa. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Diane Costa and her significant other Mario Vega, Cristina Cabral, Jason Cabral and his wife Nina, Jeffrey Costa and his wife Megan, and her nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece, Ana Paula Crispim; her nephew/godson, Nelson Figueiredo and his wife Maria Manuela Figueiredo; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany, Sabrina, and Brandon Crispim, Tiffany and Christopher Figueiredo; and many cousins.

Deolinda was a strong and loving woman who cared for her family very much. She always looked out for her friends and family. She enjoyed making memories with her family and spending a lot of her time outdoors. She will be truly missed by her loved ones.

Calling hours will be held at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, on Friday, (April 5), from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the funeral home.
