David E. Rodrigues, 71, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of 14 years to Diane Justo Rodrigues, passed away at home, Friday, December 25,2020. Born on August 2, 1949 in Hartford, son of the late Jose and Evelyn (Carreira) Rodrigues he was grew up in Glastonbury and raised his family Marlborough, prior to moving to Wethersfield.

David worked in construction for over 40 years and recently retired from All Gas of Hartford. He proudly served in as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Melanie Rodrigues of Marlborough; a daughter and her partner, Kate Rodrigues and Tom Freckleton of Manchester; three grandsons, Zachary, Jeremy, and Keenan Rodrigues; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Jim Behrendt of Muncie, Indiana and many cousins, nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by a son, Derek Rodrigues. The family would like to thank Dr. Bielawski of the Newington V.A., for his care.
