Carolyn loved to travel and to teach travel programs. She was a certified travel counselor and managed several local agencies. She enjoyed helping clients with their travel plans and was a stickler for details and service. She retired from Sanditz Travel in West Hartford. She was with World Travel Partners/BTI America in Hartford and she had long been associated with Kenney Travel in WH center. Her early career was with American Airlines in ticketing and reservations.
Carolyn lived to travel and was fulfilled by helping clients plan trips. She also loved teaching and spending time with students. She especially loved teaching geography. Her home was full of mementos of her travel career and she took pride in her ability to solve travel snafus.
Carolyn was predeceased by her son and her husband. She is survived by her daughter and grandchildren. A special thank you to caregiver Paul Frederick for his long-time service to Carolyn and David.
