Obituary for Carlos Sierra

Carlos Sierra, 20 years old of Hartford Connecticut son of Atty. Arnaldo J. Sierra and Beth DiCocco Sierra passed away Friday, August 3, 2018.
Carlos attended Saint Brigid School and was a graduate of Connecticut River Academy in 2017.
Carlos was surrounded by his family and leaves behind his siblings, Desmond, Savanna and Myles Sierra and his dog, Carlito. He also leaves his grandmother Marion Sierra and grandfather Samuel Dicocco, 9 aunts and uncles and 20 cousins who he deeply loved.
Carlos was the proud recipient of a liver and bowel transplant which he received 18 years ago. Although he had many medical complications along the way, Carlos never complained and decided instead to focus on the positive aspects of his life. Throughout his journey, Carlos was deeply spiritual and was very confident that one day he would walk with our Lord.
He loved to cook, play video games and watch movies. Sienfeld was his favorite TV show. Carlos was very thankful for his extended family of doctors and nurses at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Georgetown University Hospital who helped guide him through his journey.
Carlos was an advocate for organ donation and was able to give the gift of sight with his final act of donating his corneas.
Carlos’ positive spirit touched many people and his constant goal was to bring his family and friends together. That Spirit will continue to live on with Every Gathering! He will be greatly missed!❤
In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to above hospitals.
