Obituary for Barbara S. Daniels (Sheehan)
Barbara S. Daniels, 90, of Hartford passed peacefully on September 27, 2016. Barbara was born on November 29, 1925 to the late John and Frances Sheehan. She was retired from the Newington, VA after many years of civil service.
Left to celebrate Barbara’s life are her daughters, Marjorie and Susan; sons-in-law, Gordon Wolfgang and Roger Bristol; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ford & Annamarie, Rebecca Roberts, Reese Roberts & Lillian Velez, Jon Bristol & Brie, great-grandchildren Becky & Abbi Ford, Elijah Roberts, Derek, Kayla and her sister Janet (Sheehan) Brown. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Daniels and a grandson, Michael Bristol.
The family extends their deepest thanks to Hughes Convalescent Home for the comfort and care provided Barbara and her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Durham Animal Rescue Team (DART), c/o Brenda’s Main Street Feed, 58 Main St., Durham, CT 06422. – “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 29, at 11:00am at Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday, prior to the funeral service.
