Armindo Manuel Lopes, age 75, of Hartford, entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2021. Born in Vade S.Tome, Ponte Da Barca, Portugal on June 11,1945. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria A. Lopes and their three children; daughter, Lucia Goncalves and her husband Jose, daughter, Jacinta Anaya and her husband David, and son, Francisco Lopes and wife Amy, and his seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Christopher, Caitlin, Zachary, Gabriella, Julia, and Lucas. He is also survived by his sister, Maria R. DaSilva and his brother, Jose P. Lopes. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren and family and his beloved dog, Daisy. He loved working with his hands as a carpenter and retired from Taylor and Fenn after 25 years, where he made many long lasting friendships. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, (May 7), 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Portugal.
