Antonio Ricardo, 95, West Hartford beloved husband of the late Elvira (Almada) Ricardo, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. Born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, he had lived in Hartford for many years, moving to West Hartford 20 years ago. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Andersen Laboratories in Bloomfield. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrow Church, Hartford and St. Brigid Church, West Hartford.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law George and Deborah Ricardo of West Hartford; two grandsons, Jason J. Ricardo and his partner Diana Brickett of Terryville and Mark A. Ricardo and his wife Kayla (Lewie) Ricardo of Bolton; four great grandchildren, Lilyana, Rylan, Dominic, Aubriella and a great granddaughter on the way. He also leaves many nieces and nephew in the U.S. and Portugal. Besides his wife Antonio was predeceased by his son, David Ricardo. Funeral services were private.

The family would like to thank the staff at Seabury Health Center in Bloomfield for their wonderful care of Antonio in his last year.
