Antonio G. Cunha, 71, of Waterford, formerly of Newington, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Reguengo do Fetal, Portugal, he was the son of the late Laurindo Cunha and Maria Conceicao. In addition to his wife, Maria E. Cunha, of almost 51 years, he leaves a daughter, Lina Cunha Tuck, husband David, and grandson Jacob of Old Lyme; a son, Jorge Cunha and granddaughter, Alexina of Rocky Hill; and loving extended family members in the U.S. and Portugal.
Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm Sunday at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St, Hartford. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. Burial will be private.
