Obituary for Anthony "Tony" Ciccomascolo
Anthony Ciccomascolo of West Hartford, CT entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, November 16,2020. He was the son of Joseph and Pasqualina (Brevetti) Ciccomascolo of Waterbury, CT. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years, Angel Marie Delpo and several brothers and sisters. He was a communicant of St. Timothy Church in West Hartford.
He leaves two children, his daughter Catherine Ciccomascolo and daughter-law- Melinda Barry of West Hartford, and a son, Anthony Ciccomascolo, Jr and four grandchildren, Lauren and Mitchell Ciccomascolo of California and Gabriella and Bianca Ciccomascolo of West Hartford, CT
He was born September 23, 1929 in Williamsport, PA and relocated to Waterbury CT in 1934. He went to Driggs Grammar School and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1946. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean War from 1951-1955 and received an honorable discharge. Upon his return from service, he attended and graduated from Ward School of Electronics. He was employed as an electrician at Uniroyal in Naugatuck until he retired in 1980. He later joined Owens Brockway in Waterbury until 1995 when he took final retirement.
Anthony enjoyed golfing, dancing, Sunday dinners and spending time with his family. Anthony’s faith and love for his church always kept him at peace to accept the things he could not change, but to pray for those who needed the strength of our Lord. Anthony left this world telling his loved ones “I love you more today than yesterday”.
