Obituary for Annmarie Cricco

On July 15th, 2023, Annmarie Cricco passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age 57.

Annmarie was born in Manchester and raised in West Hartford, daughter of Mary Ann and Arthur Burkard. She was the oldest of three children and leaves behind her two brothers, David “Fred” Burkard and wife Judy and Matthew Burkard.

Annmarie is survived by her four children, Elizabeth, Marc, Nicholas and Olivia, who were her whole world. Annmarie moved to Bristol where she raised her family. There she was blessed with her five grandchildren, James, Carter, Isabella, Sophia and Ethan.

Annmarie worked at The Hartford for over 20 years. She gained so many friends and close bonds with the people she worked with. She was always there to help and to listen to people in need.

Her true passion was cooking. She loved cooking so much she went to culinary school. Cooking and food were Annmarie's way of showing love and bringing people together.

Annmarie was a great friend to so many, but she had a small inner circle she adored and was her true authentic self with. She never had any sisters, but she found some of her own.

Annmarie was truly one of a kind and will be missed deeply.
