The Story 0f A Unread Letter

In the early afternoon of Tuesday September 27th 2016 I was encouraged by a phone call from my son’s wife Wanda to write a letter to my brother “Sonny”.  A letter I planned to send that could be read to him for me since phone calls were not possible. A loving God in His Wisdom gave me an opportunity to sit across the miles and share with my brother tender memories of our childhood. An unread letter sent by God’s hand was uniting us for one last moment here on this earth. It was only hours from the time I laid my pen down that I would be told my brother was at peace in the arms of His Creator. The God he loved deeply and served his entire life.  It is with Joy that I believe I am but one breath away from Eternal Life with Abba Father’s family and with all those of mine who have gone before me. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit fill us with the Truth that “In His Presence is Fullness of Joy” (Psalm 11:6).   My brother Andrew James Mank is tasting the sweetness of those words of scripture today….and forever. The choice is available to all through Jesus and the finished work of the cross.
