Our beloved mother, Alice Ruth (Abrahamsen) Sundstrom, of West Hartford, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 12, 2023, six days before her 95th Birthday. Blessing and sadness fill the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her stedfast faith and love for her Lord Jesus directed her path. Her welcoming smile, unconditional love and gracious hospitality will be remembered by many. Alice was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph William Sundstrom, Sr.; her precious grandson, Justin Sundstrom; her beloved brother, Rev. Dr. Carl E. Abrahamsen Jr.; and her dear sister-in-law, Grace Abrahamsen. She will be greatly missed by her children; Valerie (Thomas) Every, Ruth (Jeff) Brown, Miriam (Perry) Lincoln, and Ralph W. Sundstrom Jr.; her ten grandchildren; and her 22 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved sister, Ginny Giarnese and her sisters-in-law whom she loved as sisters, Ruby (Sundstrom) Nelsen, Barbara (Sundstrom) Schotte, and Beverly (Sundstrom) Martin.
