Alice Steves, of Avon, formerly of West Hartford passed away on January 28, 2022, at her home. Born in Hartford on January 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Oeopoldina) Steves.

Alice lived in West Hartford for many years, prior to moving to Arden Courts of Avon. She was employed by the Wethersfield School Department in the Student Information Services Department and in the Corporate Communications Department at the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company. Alice enjoyed traveling throughout the years.

Alice is survived by a niece, Debra Cyr and her husband Roland Cyr of Unionville and two nephews, John Atashian and James Atashian, both of Naples, FL. Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by her only sister, Mary J. Atashian.
