Alice J. SanGiacomo of West Hartford, CT and Wellfleet, MA, beloved wife of the late David M. SanGiacomo and the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Dirzinauskas) Nashlenas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 3, 1940 in Hartford, CT and lived in the area throughout her life. Alice was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Saint Francis Hospital for over 35 years. She was a long-time parishioner of the Church of St. Helena and the Church of St. Peter Claver in West Hartford, CT as well as Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Wellfleet, MA. Alice was an avid reader and a great source of information on many subjects including nutrition, healthcare, and politics. She was also a loyal fan and supporter of the UCONN women’s basketball team. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family.

Alice will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren: Keith SanGiacomo of Ventura, CA, his wife Lily, their daughters Allison and Laura; Kenneth SanGiacomo, DMD of Bethel, CT, his wife Joann, DMD, their sons Michael, Brian and Matthew; and Kristen SanGiacomo of Avon, CT, her husband Sean Murphy, and their children Kaitlyn and Connor.

Family and friends may call at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT on Wednesday, July 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Peter Claver, 47 Pleasant Street, West Hartford, CT at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Wellfleet, MA.
