Joseph Albert Nicholas Lemire of West Hartford, beloved husband , devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, treasured brother, uncle, and great friend to many, departed this life on May 21, 2019 at St. Mary Home, West Hartford surrounded by his loving family. He was given the gift of life by Joseph Arthur and Georgette (Benoit) Lemire in Canada. He emigrated to the United States in 1955. He settled in West Hartford and was the owner/operator of A & B Auto Body Works. He lived his life to the fullest, he was the epitome of a hard working , fun loving, family man. His constant love, support and caring will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lorraine (Boutin) Lemire; sons, Larry (Teenia) of Pittsburg, NH , Normand (Susan) and Gary (Janelle) of West Hartford . Also mourning his loss are grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, and Nicholas (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Riley and Courtney and his sister, Jeannine LaGrandeur of Canada.

Friends may greet the family at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford on Friday, (May 24), from 5 to 7 pm.
