Agostinho Magalhaes Pereira da Silva, 85, of South Windsor husband of the late Maria de Lourdes Carreira Silva passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Portugal.  Born in Relva, Castro Daire Portugal, he came to the Hartford area over 60 years ago.  Prior to his retirement he was employed at Stanadyne in Windsor.  He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hartford.  Agostinho is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Humberto and Daniela Silva of South Windsor. A brother and sister-in law Inocencio and Maria do Carmo Silva of Hartford, two sisters Maria Augusta Silva and her husband Jose Ferreira, Laurentina Silva and her husband Jose Silva of Hartford, and three grandsons Stephen, Kevin and Michael Silva.   Besides his wife, Agostinho was pre-deceased by a sister and brother Maria de Lourdes Ferreira and Antonio Ferreira.

Funeral procession will be Tuesday, (July 19), 10:30 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford.   Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.    Calling hours will be Tuesday (July 19) from 9:00 -10:30 am. at the funeral home.
