The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Afonso Batista can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am sorry for the recent loss of your beloved family member. He will be greatly missed indeed by all who knew and loved him. Please know you are not alone in your grief and sorrow. God himself promises to be there for you as made mentioned at James 4:8. All he asked is that you take a moment and turn to him in prayer and he will indeed provide you with "the peace of God that excels all thoughts that will guard your heart and your thinking pattern" as found in his Word the Bible too at Philippians 6,7.
