Anthony J. "Tony" Mattera, of Simsbury, formerly of Windsor, beloved husband of the late Carmen M. Mattera, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. Tony was born on January 29, 1932 and had lived in Windsor and Simsbury. He is survived by his loving children, a son Paul Mattera; four daughters, Annette DiClemente and her husband John, Susan Fendrick and her husband Chris, Donna Mattera and Dee Olihan and her husband Mike; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, (November 18), 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 942 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Entombment will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Friday, (November 17), from 5 to 8 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
